Perfecta Thickness Gauge

The Perfecta Gauge is the “original” PLC-Based Thickness Gauge System. From the first installation in the late 90s, Perfecta customers have enjoyed the benefits delivered by the high reliability of the PLC. This system can be built from Allen Bradley, General Electric, Siemens, or Modicon PLCs (others available also). Perfecta Gauges are installed all over the world in rolling mill applications.

Global Gauge’s Coating Weight Gauging system is capable of measuring various metallic coatings such as Zinc, Tin, Aluminum, and other hot metals coatings. The principle of operation is to direct an x-ray beam into the coated material, with enough energy level sufficient to fluoresce the steel substrate under the coating.

Width Gauges

Our width gauges are arranged to optimize the customers’ application. In many cases, a single camera assembly will suffice for customer needs, however we can also arrange our cameras in a dual-camera setup, or a stereoscopic manner (to account for depth of field view and further increase accuracy).
