Electrolytic tin coating

Tinplate.

Sub-g/m² coating-weight accuracy on ETP and TFS lines.

Electrolytic tinplate (ETP) and tin-free steel (TFS) lines produce light-gauge substrate for food and beverage cans. Coating weights sit at 1 to 11 g/m², an order of magnitude below galvanizing, demanding dedicated XRF optics. The Perfecta CWG-Sn is tuned for this narrow range.

PROVEN IN TINPLATE

Tin coating-weight stability

A typical application: a Perfecta CWG-Sn deployed mid-line on a tandem-exit ETP line producing food-can substrate, replacing an aging third-party XRF and holding tin coating weight stable below audit tolerance.

Coating-weight drift held below audit tolerance, without manual gravimetric checks.
Typical outcome of CWG-Sn tin-line installations
ETP AND TIN FREE STEEL

Hold tin weight under audit tolerance.

Send your coating weight targets and your line speed. We will confirm what the gauge holds on your substrate and quote against it.
