Cross-width profile scanning of cut strip samples. Internal scanning X-ray and laser sensors traverse a stationary sample inside an O-frame, producing high-resolution thickness profiles for the QC lab: crown, wedge, edge drop and average thickness.
A cut sheet or strip sample is placed in the O-frame and remains stationary throughout the measurement.
Precision linear slides carry the scanning X-ray and laser sensors across the full sample width on a servo drive, with internal cable handling.
The GHF X-ray source and xenon ion chamber detector resolve thickness at each position; compensation utilities correct the reading before it is logged.
Crown, wedge, edge drop and average thickness are calculated and archived per sample or coil ID, with reports built to your QC documentation requirements.
