Global Gauge Corporation ("Global Gauge," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.globalgauge.com and any related pages, forms, and content (collectively, the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

This Policy applies only to the Site. It does not apply to information collected offline, through direct commercial dealings with our sales and service teams, or on any third-party website we link to. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use and our Copyright and Disclaimer notice.

1. Who We Are

Global Gauge Corporation designs and manufactures x-ray thickness gauges, coating weight gauges, width gauges, vision systems, and related industrial measurement equipment for steel mills and metal processing facilities. We also service and upgrade legacy isotope gauges and provide isotope source recovery services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you submit voluntarily through the contact form, the quote request form, or by emailing or calling us. This typically includes:

• Full name
• Telephone number
• Email address
• The product or application you are inquiring about
• The contents of your message, including any technical or commercial details you choose to share
• Company name, job title, shipping address, or other business details you provide during subsequent correspondence

Our forms are intended for business inquiries. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or export-controlled technical data through the Site.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our web server, our security software, and our analytics provider:

• IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it

2.4 Third-Party Services Operating on the Site

Third parties that may receive information about your visit include:

• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure Site traffic and usage. Google may set cookies and collect your IP address and browsing activity on our Site. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated submissions. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and behavioral signals and sends them to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Fonts. Typefaces used on the Site may be served by Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Website hosting and security providers. Our hosting provider and website security software maintain server logs and block traffic identified as malicious. These logs contain IP addresses and request details.

We do not control the independent privacy practices of these providers. Review their privacy notices for details about their processing.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry, quote request, or service request
• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
• Provide product support, service, calibration, and system upgrade assistance
• Communicate with you about orders, projects, and installed equipment
• Maintain records required for quality management under ISO 9001:2015 and calibration records under ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

4. Marketing Choices

We contact you primarily because you initiated an inquiry with us. If we send you marketing email, every message includes an unsubscribe mechanism, and you may also opt out at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 12. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional or service messages relating to equipment you have purchased or a quote you requested.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy law.

We share information only as follows:

• Service providers. Website hosting, email delivery, security, CRM, and IT support vendors that process information on our behalf under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• Analytics and anti-abuse providers. Google, in connection with Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA, and Google Fonts as described in Section 2.4. These services operate under Google's own terms, and Google may use information collected through them for its own purposes as described in its privacy policy.
• Sales and service representatives. If your inquiry concerns a territory served by one of our independent international representatives, we may forward it to them so they can assist you. These include LGE Engineering srl (Genoa, Italy), ZEITDC (Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, People's Republic of China), and our representative in Mumbai, India. Where an inquiry is routed outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in that country, which may not provide the same level of legal protection for personal information as the United States.
• Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
• Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, including export control and radiation safety authorities, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, safety, or that of others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain inquiry and quote information for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request and to maintain our business records. Records tied to equipment sales, service, calibration, and licensed radioactive sources are retained for longer periods where required by quality standards, contractual obligations, or federal and state regulation. Server and security logs are retained for a limited period consistent with their operational purpose.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These include TLS encryption in transit for Site traffic, access controls, and monitored website security software. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email, which is not an encrypted channel end to end. Please do not use the Site forms for confidential, proprietary, or export-controlled information. Contact us by telephone so we can arrange an appropriate channel.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is directed to businesses and industrial professionals and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details in Section 12 and we will delete it, except where we are required to retain it by law.

9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common standard for them has been adopted. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control does not change how we handle your information.

10. Your U.S. State Privacy Rights

Several U.S. states, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, give residents rights over their personal information.

These laws apply only to businesses that meet specific revenue or data-volume thresholds. Most of them, including those of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, define a covered "consumer" to exclude individuals acting in a commercial or employment capacity, so they generally do not reach the business-contact information we collect through the Site. California is different. Since January 1, 2023, the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to business-contact and employment information as well.

Where a law applies to us and to you, you may have the right to:

• Know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention obligations
• Obtain a portable copy of information you provided to us
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, none of which we conduct
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
• Appeal a denial of a request, where the applicable state law provides for an appeal

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will verify your identity by matching the information in your request against our records and may ask for additional information where a match is not clear. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorization. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California Shine the Light. California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page in advance of taking effect. We will not apply materially different practices to personal information we collected before a change without providing notice and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.
